Clowning Around at Emerson's Birthday Party!

We got to celebrate Emerson's 2nd birthday with her this past weekend at the Circus! We had such a BLAST! Molly and Piper did such a great job (especially considering it was way past their bedtime when we left). Stacy, Emer's mom, made all of the kids a tie-dyed shirt to wear - they were soo cute! We were escorted up to the private party room by a security officer (so of course we felt sooo important). Molly ate a whole cupcake and wanted seconds!

Then we were escorted down to the Circus... which was AWESOME! I can't tell you how long it had been since I was at a Circus. James, Molly & Piper had never been!! Molly was wearing her clown nose off and on during the event. Every time an acrobat or clown would do something amazing or fun Molly would turn to James and say, "Daddy, I do that sometimes!". She was clapping and yelling - it was such fun! Piper kept taking the straw out of some random person 's drink who was sitting behind us. Fortunately they were super cool and got a big kick out of her (and her very obnoxious happy squeals!). That poor baby was so exhausted by the end of the show - she was doing that nodding-off thing... It was so sad, but so cute!
