Molly LOVES to be outdoors. One of her favorite things is gardening. We have been planting lots of "flowlers" and I have to say... we are getting pretty darn good at it!
We are The Hills... James, Dangela, Molly & Piper - the Funtastic Four! We love spending time together as a family, but also enjoy friends, social gatherings, being outdoors and playing with our dogs, Rosie and Bunker! We are members of Watermark Community Church and are involved in community through playgroups, PTA, RE Clubs and the YMCA! Molly & Piper are super fun and precious, so basically this blog is for them!
09/10/08 Today we were walking home from Nanna & Poppy's house and Molly stopped suddenly, put her left arm across her waist, put her right hand on her face and was scratching her cheek while saying, "Hmmmm. Oh that's interesting." She started walking again and then stopped and did the same thing but said "Hmmmm, Let's think about this"!!
09/10/08 Uncle Derek was playing an "I Spy" type game with Molly in the car. Derek-"Molly, what's that one?" Molly-"That's a fishing pole" (It was a big crane in downtown Dallas - so from where we were it looked like a large fishing pole!!
09/03/2008 I picked Molly up from her first day at preschool. When I got there she was crying and said, "I was crying for you, but now I'm very very happy" (while she was still crying!!)
08/15/08 Today we met our Playgroup at the Galleria Play Area and of course we HAVE to walk by the ice skaters... Molly watched for a little bit and then shouted, "Mommy, they are icing. I want to do that icing!"
She will leave the room and say "if you need me just call me" (which is what James tells her at bedtime). Then, 2 seconds later, she'll scream "did you call me yet?" -27 months
Molly went in to the office the other day to see James. She walked up to him, put her hand on his arm and said, "Well hello James. How are you doing?" -27 months
Talks to Bunker, brushes his hair and puts bibs, hats, etc. on him and says, "Wow Bunkie, you're a cute boy"!
Says "It's not your talk, it's MY talk" when she wants it to be her turn to talk!
Says "Fickit" when something doesn't work properly (Her version of "Fix It")
Molly says "Daddy, ground and pound you" and proceeds to jump on top of him and, well, ground and pound!
Says "Can I hold you?" when she wants to be held.
Mommy, do you like my "honytail" (Her version of ponytail)?
